What are the benefits of having the mural painted on canvas in your studio?
- Canvas murals are installed like wallpaper, only they are stronger, more durable AND they are removable if you move or desire to change the décor of the room. You can roll them up, re-apply them to a different wall, save them for posterity or even sell them on ebay!
- If they are painted in my studio I can work on them without interrupting your schedule and your home/business environment.
- They can be shipped to anywhere in the world!
- They can be given as a surprise gift!!!

What kinds of surfaces can be painted on?
Acrylics can be painted on almost any porous surface. Some surfaces might require primer first (like metals and cinder block). If walls will be painted prior to mural painting, it is suggested that you use an interior latex paint (Benjamin Moore or MAB are preferable) with an eggshell finish. A “flat (or matte)” finish will not support the mural well and tend to soak up a lot of the paint applied over it causing poor results and twice the amount of labor.

Will varnish (a.k.a.. clearcoat) be applied to the mural when finished?
Clearcoat is applied only upon request (when the mural may be in danger of being exposed to chemicals, oils, or water vapor). The mural itself will be permanent when completely cured (about 2 or 3 days following completion) and does not need the clearcoat in most cases. There is an additional charge for clearcoat application (labor and expense).
