FAQ

How long will the mural last? Will it fade?
It should last many years, even decades if protected. Because acrylics are used, the mural should not fade once it has completely cured (2-3 days) to the surface. There may be a slight fading in the first day or two after completion depending on how porous the surface is, but most likely it will not be noticeable.

What do I need to do in preparation for the mural painting?
  • Before the work begins all large furniture that might be in the way needs to be removed to another room or to the center of the room to be painted. I will cover them with drop cloths to protect them if you haven’t already.
  • Any large lighting fixtures must be removed or covered for their protection.
  • All animals must be penned or sequestered away from the area to be painted.
  • Any holes or damage to the wall or surface to be painted must be properly patched, sanded and primed for painting (acrylic primer) by the client. Any cleaning, maintenance or repair that I must do prior to painting will add to the labor time charged.

Are gift certificates available for my friends and relatives?
YES! Gift certificates are available for any amount you wish upon request. Keep in mind that the average mural starts around $500 and depending on the size and complexity they can run into the thousands of dollars. The same goes for commissioned paintings.
